Osanpo Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan ("APPI") and handles users' personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy ("Policy") in connection with the "Osanpo" application ("App") and our website.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use the App.

(1) Information you provide

• Account information (identifier from LINE login, display name)
• Profile information (nickname, profile image)
• Pet information (name, date of birth, breed, sex)
• Photo data and metadata (date and time taken, location)

(2) Information collected automatically

• Device information (OS, device type, device ID, language settings)
• IP address
• App usage history (access date and time, features used, error logs)
• Location information (only if you grant permission)

(3) Diagnostic and usage data (anonymous)

To improve our service, we may collect anonymous diagnostic and usage data. Diagnostic data for the dog-detection feature (processing speed, detection-result statistics, and an anonymous device identifier) is aggregated on your device before being sent; app and website usage (launches, screen views, device type, and the like) is collected through Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Neither identifies you, and the photos themselves are never transmitted. You can stop sending it from the "Send Diagnostic Data" toggle in the app's settings.

2. Purposes of Use

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the App
• To provide user support and respond to inquiries
• To analyze and conduct research and development to improve the service
• To notify you of new features and updates
• To prevent misuse and ensure security
• To respond to violations of the Terms of Use
• To respond as required by applicable laws and regulations

3. Data Processing by AI Features

The App uses AI (a machine learning model) for the feature that detects dogs in photos. Regarding this AI processing, we promise the following:

• All AI processing is performed solely on your device, and photo data is never sent to any external server.
• We never use your photo data as training data for AI models.

4. Provision to Third Parties

We will not provide your personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

• When you have given your consent
• When required by laws and regulations
• When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property
• When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children
• When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local government, or a party entrusted by them in carrying out duties prescribed by laws and regulations

We do not sell users' personal information.

5. Provision to Subcontractors

We may entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In such cases, we will exercise appropriate supervision over the entrusted party.

6. Data Storage and Security

We store the collected information with appropriate security measures in place:

• Encryption of communications (SSL/TLS)
• Encrypted storage of data
• Strict management of access permissions
• Implementation of measures against unauthorized access

Photo data is encrypted and stored on cloud servers. While we strive to maintain and improve information security, we cannot guarantee complete security for communications over the internet.

7. Data Retention Period

We retain personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use. If a user requests account deletion, we will delete the personal information within 30 days. However, information that we are required by law to retain will be kept for the period prescribed by the applicable law.

8. Use of Cookies

Our website may use cookies to improve user convenience and the service. If you do not wish to use cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings; however, some features may become unavailable.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended to collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information without parental consent, we will promptly delete such information.

You have the following rights regarding the personal information we hold about you:

• The right to request disclosure of your personal information
• The right to request correction, addition, or deletion of your personal information
• The right to request suspension of use of your personal information
